Lessons on hunting

Lurtz Swiftfurys body tensed at the sight of the wild boar. Hidden as he was, it was impossible for the boar to see him. His scent masked by bying smeared with boar urine and feces, he was all but invisible to the animal. His well built arm muscles rippled as he silently raised his bow and notched an arrow. His nostrals flared as he tensed to lose the arrow aimed at the heart of the boar. Suddenly, the boar looked up startled as it heard a loud crashing in the bushes. Cursing under his breath Lurtz turned to fire. At that moment a small, young, muscular orc burst out of the bushes charging at the boar yelling "TENTAN IT! TENTAN GET FATHER!" The boar turned in terror and bolted from the clearing. Seeing one last chance for a shot, Lurtz notched another arrow and loosed it. The arrow however struck Tentan sticking deep in his leg as he ran yelling and screaming after the boar before crashing to the ground in pain. Seeing his son wounded in this way, Lurtz sighed, picked up his bow and wandered over to help the poor orcling. Speaking in primative orcish, Lurtz said "My son, if you are ever to be successful and have the ability to provide food and clothing for a family of your own, as any proud orc male should do, you must learn patience, discipline, and above all stealth." Looking up at his father with tears streaming down his face, Tentan said "Tentan sorry father. Me be the clumsiest orc ever. Me no great hunter. No never be like you." Pulling a cloth from his pocket and wiping the tears from his sons face, Lurtz smiled "Son, you are still young and have not found your place in life. Perhaps it is not your place to follow in your fathers foot steps. You have proven yourself very handy with a blade. That troll, Gisigi, that you have been playing with has taught you much. No, I do not see you as a great bowsman when you grow up. More, I see you as a skilled blademaster." Hia chest swelling with pride as he spoke, Lurtz said "Yes... I can see you now, dashing from the shadows to gut your enemies and thin their numbers before taking them on in open combat. No matter what you do with your life, you will make your father proud as long as you do it honorably. Now come, let me see what Gisigi has taught you about using the shadows to your advantage.
